The Kung Fu: The Legend Continues Script Collection was founded as a way for fans to get copies of the scripts from episodes of Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, as well as being a continuing effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society in memory of Robert Lansing. Many of the scripts available from the Collection were originally donated by members of the cast and crew of KF:TLC, on behalf of various worthy causes. The generosity of many fans has made these copies available to the Collection. The Collection continues the generosity that has typified this fandom, through the circulation of fascinating materials, and the support of a worthy cause--cancer research--in memory of one of the KF:TLC family: Robert Lansing.

Administration

The Script Collection is run under the auspices of Kraft, DeVore and Hovde and they are the final arbiters regarding Collection policies. If you have any questions or concerns about the Collection, please e-mail me.

Holdings

The Holdings List is a list of KF:TLC scripts available. They are listed chronologically by episode, and each episode's scripts (when there is more than one) are listed chronologically by color and date. The latest date in a series of scripts is the latest version (but not necessarily the last version, depending on whether there were later revisions we don't have). Please note that the copies YOU will be receiving will be on white paper--it would cost too much to do them on the appropriate colored paper. Scripts will be printed double-sided instead of the single-sided way they originally came, and will be stapled and three- hole-punched. Where filming schedules or other related papers are available, they'll be included with the script.

Cost

Prices are indicated on the holdings list. Generally, scripts are $4 or $5, with the exceptions marked. Higher priced scripts either have more script text pages (i.e. "Initiation") or a number of supplemental pages (i.e. "Black Widow"). Money collected in excess of the actual operating costs (At least $1 per script, for most scripts the amount will be greater) will be donated to the American Cancer Society in memory of Robert Lansing. Because "Dreamscape" is a very unique script, being an unproduced "spec" script for a proposed "reunion" movie, we are asking a higher donation. In addition, certain scripts have a handling fee added to them (necessitated in order to make script prices even numbers). This handling fee is generally $.50 and is applied to less than a dozen titles. The handling fee will be used to support the operation of the Script Collection and any operations money remaining at the end of each calendar year will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Collection Maintenance

A $1.00 handling fee will be added to each order. This fee will be used to maintain the collection, for incidental expenses: envelopes, staples, advertising, etc. Any money remaining in the Maintenance fund at the end of each calendar year will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Mailing

Scripts will be mailed by first-class/priority mail to US addresses, by first class/airmail to Canada, and by Global Priority mail (where possible) overseas. The postage cost to US addresses is $4.00 for each set of 4 scripts you order (i.e. 1-4 scripts = $4.00, 5-8 scripts = $8.00, etc.). Canadians, add $1 to the above postage prices. Overseas orders may select up to 6 scripts for a single postage price. Global Priority postage to Europe = $7US, Global Priority postage to Pacific Rim and Australia=$9US. Ordering

To order scripts, print out the form provided and mail it with your payment to the address below. Checks, money orders, or cash (sent at your own risk) is accepted; US funds only, please. Make checks payable to Jeanne DeVore. Please allow at least 4 weeks for the processing of your order.

Order Fulfillment

Orders will be filled once a month, generally on the 3rd or 4th weekend of the month, depending on our schedules. We'll try to post each month on the Script Collection home page when "order day" will be, but unfortunately, we can't promise it. We have lives, families, children, jobs, etc., any one of which may cause delays. Any orders received by that day will be filled; any orders received after that day will be filled the following month. You are welcome to e-mail me to let me know your order is coming, and I can e-mail you when I receive it, and hopefully provide you with an ETA. Checks for orders will NOT be cashed until the order is filled. Because of the way orders are filled, we ask that you order no more than approximately 8 scripts at a time. If you want a large number of scripts, order the first 8, then when you receive them, order the next batch. You'll get your order sooner and we'll keep our sanity.

Acquisition

The Script Collection is now complete and we are no longer actively seeking additional scripts. At over 140 separate scripts, the Collection would grow unwieldy were it to become any larger, so we will not accept additional scripts unless they are something especially unique. If you have a script you feel would be a tremendous asset to the Collection (such as a first draft spec script of the pilot), e-mail me first to see if we're interested.

The Script List

Because the Script Collection is now complete, we will no longer be including a printed copy of the Script Collection holdings list with each order. The Script List will always be available on this web page and can be printed from there. Or you can request a copy of the List for a SASE and $.50.

Donations

If you'd like to help the fundraising effort by making additional donations, your contribution would be very welcomed. Please make the check out to the American Cancer Society and include it with your order. Every couple of months, I will be sending a check to the American Cancer Society and would be pleased to send your check along with mine. You may also send a check at any time to the ACS. Go to the American Cancer Society web page or call 1-800-ACS-2345 to find out the address of your local branch. Include a note stating that the donation is in memory of Robert Lansing. You may also use the ACS web page and your credit card to make a memorial gift online.
